Some children need a little help with their personal development. Here, the early intervention with special education offered by the Lebenshilfe can provide advice, and support parents and their child. Starting from birth and continuing until they start school, we help children who need particular support in one or more areas of development. We offer this support free of charge to families.

For each child, we ascertain what specific support they need and, together with their families, draw up an individual education plan. We work with the children either at home, in their familiar environment, in small groups on our premises, or at their kindergarten/pre-school. It goes without saying that we also provide advice regarding suitable daycare facilities or enrolling your child for school. The parents of the children we support can swap ideas with each other when they meet at our facilities, and benefit from each other’s experiences.

We are keen to pass on our specialist knowledge and expertise to trained staff working at daycare facilities, and offer training sessions and advice on the topic of early intervention.
